Shandong Museum is set to host a series of fascinating events for the 2025 International Museum Day on May 18, themed around the future of museums in a rapidly changing society. As the main venue in Jinan, capital of Shandong province, the museum has prepared a diverse range of activities to engage visitors, blending tradition with modern technology.
On May 17, the opening ceremony of the special exhibition presenting Jinan's cultural history will feature thrilling acrobatics and poem recitations. The museum also offers a variety of exhibitions, including Yinqueshan Han Slips, introducing the charm of Chinese characters, and Shandong's Dinosaurs Back to the Cretaceous Period, showcasing historical artifacts and natural wonders.
